“Write the bad things that are done to you in the sand, but write the good things that happen to you on a piece of marble” – Arabic parable.

If you’re going to go fast and far in Life, you must have a bad memory, and this is especially true in sports. In sports, you must stay focus on the next play in the game. If you’re thinking about the last play that you just screwed on, the basket you just missed, or the home run you just gave up, that’s going to affect your focus on the next play.
Same in Life, if we’re constantly thinking about the negatives of the past, then we’re not going to be focused on what we’re doing in the present situation.
In Life, we must be able to allow time to erase our bad memories as the sands on the beach and keep looking for the next big opportunity in our lives.

The good memories seem to take care of themselves.
